Connor is a beloved and Awesome 6th grade student at SCC Middle School. Connor has survived brain surgery and tumor removal, 5 rounds of intense chemotherapy, a stem cell harvest and a bone marrow transplant all before he was 7 months old. That Connor is alive at all is miraculous. Today he suffers from cognitive delays, partial vision loss, weakness on his right side from a stroke the night before surgery, hearing loss and post brain injury seizures. Yet through all of his suffering, this amazing 11-year-old smiles, laughs, seeks out awesome hugs and can build a pretty mean world in Minecraft. We are blessed to have this young man as part of the SCC Middle School Community! Connor is amazing and we want to help!

Why Fundraising for Children's Cancer Research Fund is Important to Us
We're fundraising on behalf of Children's Cancer Research Fund because we believe no child should have to deal with the devastating effects of childhood cancer.
We believe no parent should experience the loss of a child.
We believe no sibling should have to watch their brother or sister suffer.
We believe that by investing in the brightest and boldest minds in childhood cancer research, one day we will have a cure.
We believe that every dollar we raise for childhood cancer research could be THE dollar that changes everything for a family affected by cancer.
We believe that together we can have a lasting impact in the life of a child with cancer.
We believe that a world without childhood cancer is possible.
