Time to Fly for Peyton Nadine!

We are participating in honor of my daughter, Peyton.  She was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma October 6th, 2011, just a month before her 3rd birthday.  Peyton was treated at Amplatz Hopsital - Minneapolis MN and has been cancer free since Nov 11th, 2011.

Peyton's journey included one round of intra-arterial chemo, one failed attempt of intra-arterial chemo, emergency room visits, multiple EUA's, couple UTI's, RB1 Gene Mosaic Mutation diagnosis, Grade 2 Kidney Reflux diagnosis, multiple overnight hospital stays, and an emergency visit to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Ronald McDonald House in NY.  Thanks to The Children's Cancer Research Fund our family was able to fly to NY to get the best care possible in hopes to save her eye.  Unfortuanately her tumor was classified too large to be able to save the eye.  Peyton lost her left eye to Retinoblastoma on November 11th, 2011.

This will be our 6th year walking in Time To Fly!  September 9th, 2017 I will be joining the walk against childhood cancer by participating in Time to Fly at Phalen Park in St. Paul, Minnesota, which benefits Children's Cancer Research Fund.

Children's Cancer Research Fund invests in bold research that leads to life-saving cures for childhood cancers and other deadly diseases that affect children. I want to help raise money for this important cause.
