Join me in the race against the childhood cancer -osteosarcoma!

Hi everyone!  The Laura League, a team formed to honor my niece Laura Goering, who passed away from osteosarcoma, one of the children's cancers that get very little funding.

The Run/Walk will be held on September 9th at Phalen Regional Park in St. Paul, Minnesota. All funds pledged will benefit Children's Cancer Research Fund. Join Us! Run or Walk!

For you runners, there is a 5K and a 10K !

For you walkers, the 5K walk registration starts at 9:00, with the walk starting at 9:50 a.m.

Children's Cancer Research Fund invests in bold research that leads to life-saving cures for childhood cancers.

Recently, the research funded in part by CCRF and matching grants has discovered promising data regarding the genetic similarities between the human genes that mutate into osteosarcoma and similar genes that cause canine osteosarcoma. This research will have a huge impact on the study and potential cure for this disease, which has had little progress over the past 35 years. More funding is needed to continue this research
I have discovered that comparatively little money is spent on cancer research for kids. Yet kids are diagnosed with cancer every day.  We need your help:

Because... no family should ever have to hear "There's nothing else we can do."

Because... the ONLY way we will find a cure for childhood cancer is through research. Period.

Because no one fights alone.

Whatever you can give will help - it all adds up.

If you can join us please do! Run or Walk!
