Join me in the race against childhood cancer!

It's Time to Fly!

As most of you know, our 12 year old daughter, Cecelia, lost her battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) on August 22, 2012 after a short 10 month battle.  Her strength and courage will forever be embedded in our minds and hearts.  We want to do everything in our power to help find a cure for leukemia as well as all types of childhood cancer.  No other parents should have to go through losing a child.  Please help us to raise money for childhood cancer research as well as to keep Cecelia's memory alive.

Every school day, 46 kids are diagnosed with cancer. That’s more than the size of two classrooms. I think one child diagnosed with cancer is one child too many.

That’s why I’m joining the race against childhood cancer by participating in Time to Fly 5K Walk at Phalen Park in St. Paul, Minnesota this September 9. The funds I raise will support Children's Cancer Research Fund and leading-edge research that will lead to better treatments and ultimately, life-saving cures for children.

And you can help me reach the finish line by making a donation or joining me on race day. We would love to have you on our team- Cecelia`s Heart.

**Together, we can help doctors say “we have an idea” when other doctors say “There’s nothing else we can do.”

**Together, we’ve already helped researchers make progress toward improving Hodgkin lymphoma treatment, creating better drugs for graft v. host disease, bettering leukemia therapies and much more.

**Together, we can create a world free of childhood cancer.

Whatever you can give will help - it all adds up.  Thank you for supporting life-saving research and the families and children who battle cancer daily.
