Join me in the race against childhood cancer!

As some of you know, my fiancee, Sheena defeated cancer almost 11 years ago!! Twice per year we raise funds for the Children's Cancer Research Fund (CCRF) by hosting a silent suction/celebration and participating in the Time to Fly walk/run event. Thank you to those who participated in the celebration in December!

This organization holds a very special place in our hearts because in January of 2006 Sheena was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, which is a pediatric form of bone cancer. We have witnessed so many families, including our own, fight against this disease. Our hope is that one day, no family will have to lose their loved one, especially their child to cancer. On September 9th, CCRF's annual Time to Fly walk/run will be happening at Phalen Park in St. Paul. This will be a fun day of awareness, celebration and little physical activity! :)

One in every 350 kids will be diagnosed with cancer before age 20. Although 80 percent of patients can be successfully treated todaycancer is still the leading cause of death by illness among children in the United States. There's still work to be done and you can help!
