Join me in the race against childhood cancer!

It's Time to Fly!

This September Logan and I will be joining the race against childhood cancer by participating in Time to Fly at Lake Phalan Park in St. Paul, Minnesota, which benefits Children's Cancer Research Fund.  I am walking in honor of our brave neighbor Laura who lost her battle with osteocarcoma in September, 2014.  Please support the Laura League.

Children's Cancer Research Fund invests in bold research that leads to life-saving cures for childhood cancers and other deadly diseases that affect children. I want to help raise money for this important cause.

Will you help me reach the finish line? Please make a donation or join in on the fun. Together, our support can help bring life-saving treatments to the nearly 13,000 kids that will be diagnosed with this deadly disease this year. We need your help:

Because... a child should never have to spend part of his/her childhood fighting cancer in a hospital, instead of on the playground with friends.

Because... when other doctors say, "There's nothing else we can do.",  doctors supported by Children's Cancer Research Fund say, "We have an idea."

Because... the ONLY way we will find a cure for childhood cancer is through research. Period.

Because... the discoveries that Children's Cancer Research Fund makes possible, have an impact not only on the treatment of childhood cancers, but also on adult cancers, genetic diseases, diabetes and even heart disease.

Because... without a community of supporters- like you– new discoveries that save young lives would simply not be possible.

Whatever you can give will help - it all adds up! I greatly appreciate your support and will keep you posted on my progress as I race against childhood cancer.
